ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
The Regional Karate Workshop is a full day development opportunity bringing together practical karate training, instructor development, competition education and opportunities for parents and volunteers to become more involved in the sport.
The workshop is open to all karate members. Current Karate WA members will have access to a subsidised member fee as part of Karate WA’s funded regional development program. A non-member registration fee will also be available.
WHO CAN TAKE PART?
- Karate WA Member – Athletes looking to develop their kumite, kata, physical preparation and competition knowledge.
- Karate WA Member – Instructors and coaches who want to train alongside athletes and strengthen their coaching and compliance knowledge.
- Parents, club volunteers and other interested members who would like to learn more about volunteering and event officiating.
- Karate participants from outside the Karate WA membership, with a non-member fee available.
Proudly supported through funding from the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport, providing subsidised development opportunities for Karate WA members.
