Karate Australia invites members to nominate as a member of the National Squad for 2024.
The National Squad program is designed to support to those athletes selected into a train-on squad for Oceania and the WKF World Championship
Registration closes 24 December 2023.
The opportunities for National Squad Athletes include
- The Senior Oceania Championship will take place on 26 April 2024 at the Whitlam Centre in Liverpool, NSW.
- The Cadet / Junior / U21 World Championship will take place on 9 October 2024 in Venice, Italy.
- The WKF Team World Championship will take place on 20 November 2024 in Pamplona, Spain.
- Selected senior athletes will be placed into a WKF Karate1 squad.
- Opportunities for athletes not selected in a train-on squad will be advised during the year.
