The WAKF would like to introduce Nadine Cooperwhite to the team. Nadine takes on the brand-new role of the Develop and Communication Coordinator.
Nadine’s multifaceted role encompasses a range of responsibilities aimed at enhancing the karate experience in Western Australia.
Nadine’s overarching responsibilities include:
– Coordination and delivery of forums, regional tours, and workshops.
– Assist with the rollout of the Membership actions, participation projects, and volunteer/workforce plan.
– Being a communication hub, ensuring that members, the broader karate community, and other stakeholders are well-informed.
Some of the key projects under Nadine’s remit include:
– Coach and Referee Workshop opportunities.
– Assisting clubs in helping instructors and coaches gain or maintain their coach accreditation.
– Referee Mentor Project
– Regional Development Tours
– Club Business Day
Nadine brings a wealth of experience to her role, having been a successful owner/operator of multiple businesses for over 20 years. Her expertise spans administration, day-to-day management, staffing, compliance, and strategic planning.
