Karate Western Australia (Karate WA) is inviting applications for a Regional & Participation Coordinator ( Part Time) to support the delivery of our Regional Servicing Plan and participation initiatives across Western Australia.

This part-time role (0.4 FTE) focuses on strengthening regional clubs and communities, expanding inclusive participation opportunities, and supporting sustainable growth of karate across metropolitan and regional areas. The role works closely with clubs, schools, community organisations, and internal teams to deliver practical, on-the-ground outcomes.

Key projects include regional servicing delivery, Come & Try Days, school engagement through Sporting Schools, and the Guardian Girls in Karate program, with an emphasis on inclusion, access, and long-term participation.

Key focus areas include:

  • Implementing the Regional Servicing Plan (Reach – Build – Thrive)

  • Supporting regional clubs, coaches, referees, and athletes

  • Delivering participation and inclusion programs

  • Building partnerships with schools, local government, and community organisations

  • Coordinating funded regional projects and reporting outcomes

Role details:

  • 0.4 FTE (12-month contract, with potential to extend)

  • Remote / field-based (regional travel required)

  • Remote allowance package included
