Karate Western Australia (Karate WA) is seeking a Pathways Coordinator (P/T) to support the delivery of our High Performance and Pathway programs and strengthen development opportunities for athletes, coaches, and referees across the state.

This part-time role (0.3 FTE) plays a key coordination role in delivering approved pathway initiatives aligned to the Foundation, Talent, Elite and Mastery (FTEM) framework* and supporting international engagement activities through Karate WA’s Asian Engagement Program. Working closely with the General Manager and the High Performance & Pathways Working Group, the Pathways Coordinator translates strategy into practical actions and supports collaboration with national and international partners.

The position is non-coaching and is ideal for someone with experience in sport development, pathway coordination, or project delivery who enjoys working across stakeholders and managing funded initiatives.

Key focus areas include:

  • Coordinating delivery of the Performance Pathway Plan

  • Supporting international exchange, training, and engagement initiatives

  • Liaising with Karate Australia and partner organisations

  • Managing documentation, reporting, and grant acquittals

  • Supporting clear communication and collaboration across pathway stakeholders

Role details:

  • 0.3 FTE (12-month contract, with potential to extend)

  • Remote / field-based

  • Remote allowance package included
