UncategorizedKarate WA Welcomes Graz Prinsloo as Pathway Coordinator

May 19, 2026
Karate WA is excited to welcome Graz Prinsloo to the team as our new Pathway Coordinator.
Many within the Karate WA community will already know Graz through Stirling Karate, the WA State Team coaching environment, and her involvement in karate here in Western Australia.
Graz brings an incredible depth of experience to the role, with more than 30 years involved in sport as an athlete, coach, instructor, and program leader. Alongside her karate journey, Graz also represented South Africa at the 2004 Olympic Games in hockey after progressing through junior and senior national pathways. She has also represented South Africa internationally in karate.
Since moving to Western Australia, Graz has continued to invest heavily into athlete development and creating opportunities for athletes within the sport. Through Stirling Karate and her involvement within the WA State Team environment, she has supported athletes progressing through state and national pathways, including national representation.
The new Pathway Coordinator role will help support and coordinate a range of Karate WA pathway initiatives across athletes, coaches and referees, including projects linked to the High Performance and Pathways Program and the Asian Engagement Strategy.
The role will also work closely with the High Performance & Pathways Working Group, State Coaching Panel, State Referee Commission and key internal and external stakeholders to assist with pathway development, international engagement opportunities, communication and project delivery across Karate WA.
What stands out most about Graz is her genuine passion for athlete development, her understanding of the pathway journey, and her collaborative approach to working with clubs, coaches and the broader karate community.
We are really pleased to have Graz joining the team and look forward to the experience, energy and knowledge she will bring to the role.
Please join us in welcoming Graz to the Karate WA team.
