Karate WA are excited to open the nominations for member clubs to host one Karate WA League tournament in 2026!
Nominations open today and close 16th January 2026
Tournament Dates that available in 2026:
- Sunday 8th March
- Sunday 24th May
- Sunday 30th August
- Sunday 15th November
Selection Criteria
- Must be a current member of Karate WA.
- Must have no outstanding financials with Karate WA.
- Not subject to any disciplinary behaviours or any investigation of a disciplinary action/s.
- Must be able to meet the Club Hosting Requirements and Event Requirements outlined in the Event Guidelines and Host Club Checklist.
- Has the capacity to make the event a risk free success and adhere to the correct governance required.
- Has provided officials, athletes and volunteers to support the running of all other Karate WA events consistently in the past 24 months.
- Is in good standing with other member clubs/HOS to reasonably expect to be reciprocated.
FAQs
Who can apply? ANY member club of Karate WA that meets the selection criteria.
When will the member clubs find out if they are successful in their nomination? Friday 23rd January
How will the member clubs be notified? The club representative nominating their club will be notified via email and will then be asked to electronically sign the Host Club Agreement Form before it is confirmed, and advertised to the community.
