Karate Western Australia (Karate WA) is calling for nominations for three (3) Elected Board Director positions in accordance with the Constitution. Each elected position is a three-year voluntary term.
Following the 2025 AGM, the Karate WA Board will consist of five Elected Directors and two Appointed Directors. The Board is committed to strong governance, diversity, and ensuring karate continues to grow across Western Australia.
Who we’re looking for
We are seeking Directors who:
Share Karate WA’s vision and values.
Bring skills in some of the following governance, finance, strategy, participation, club development, regional development, marketing, karate or sport knowledge, or HR.
Contribute to effective decision-making and leadership in line with the Strategic Plan.
How to Nominate
Complete the Elected Director Nomination Form (signed by both a Head of Style and a Member Club).
Submit the form together with a candidate statement (maximum 400 words) to eo@karatewestaustralia.com.
